On October 23-24, the 2020 Shanghai Economic and Information System Vocational Skills Competition "Welding Robot Assembly and Adjustment" competition project final was held at Shanghai STEP Robotics Co., Ltd., the high-skilled talent training base for the Shanghai robotics industry. Lu Xiaochun, Secretary of the Municipal Economic Informatization Work Party Committee, Zhang Lan, Deputy Director of the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Ding Bo, Deputy Secretary of the Youth League Committee, Wang Yu, Director of the Municipal Economic Information System Trade Union, Zou Mengqi, Director of Shanghai Electrical Appliance Science Research Institute, Liu Jian, Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee, and STEP Director Chang Jiyi and other leaders watched the competition on the spot, and visited and investigated the work of the training base for high-skilled talents in the robot industry and the R&D and manufacturing of STEP Robot Company.
The finalists are from Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding, Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, Jiangnan Shipbuilding, 4724, Aerospace, General Standard Technology, Shanghai Gendao Intelligent Technology, Shanghai Kumao Robot, Shanghai Qianzhisheng Robot, Shanghai General Electric Welding 50 contestants from 11 units, including Shanghai Robotics Machine and Shanghai STEP Robotics, participated in two rounds, including theoretical knowledge assessment and practical skills assessment.
Theoretical knowledge assessment adopts test paper, with a total score of 100 points, accounting for 40% of the total score, and 100 questions on the test paper must be completed within 60 minutes. Practical skill assessment involves taking turns operating at 7 robot test positions, and competes on-site in robot welding with practical skills such as robot installation, debugging, programming, welding machine, etc., which account for 60% of the total score and must be completed within 50 minutes.
The competition created a platform for the contestants to improve their skills. Guo Shengquan from Jiangnan Shipbuilding Jiangnan Heavy Industry said that with the increasingly fierce external competition and the continuous improvement of environmental protection and safety requirements, for technical workers, the only way is to constantly break the traditional process. Only by introducing new crafting methods, pursuing high-quality development, and understanding the true meaning of intelligent manufacturing can we ensure that we will not be eliminated.
The competition process is also an important communication process for industrial youths. Li Pengfei from Shanghai Qianzhisheng Robotics Co., Ltd. said that he had dealt with foreign robots a lot in his work in the past, and had limited understanding of the development of domestic robots. With more understanding and understanding of the development of the company, what surprised him most is that even domestic robots have already developed a set of operating systems that are more suitable for Chinese people and are more down-to-earth. The workers only need to spend a week You can use it proficiently in less time. (Source: Shanghai Economic and Information Commission)
