On September 28, the online product launch event for STEP eMES system was held with great fanfare, presenting a spectacular feast of digital transformation to celebrate the upcoming 73rd National Day. The live-streamed event featured on-site product launches, a virtual tour of STEP factory, and interviews with partners, comprehensively showcasing the eMES system’s powerful capabilities and market competitiveness—capabilities that set it apart from traditional MES systems in areas such as cost reduction in production, timely delivery, enhanced product quality, and improved service quality. Mr. Jin Xinhai, President of STEP, attended the launch event together with leaders from industry associations and esteemed partner guests. The livestream attracted over 500 viewers, and the number of likes reached 38,000.
Mr. Jin Xinhai, President of STEP, delivered the opening remarks at the press conference. Mr. Jin noted that the digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises is accelerating today, and their reliance on MES systems has become particularly strong. As a manufacturing enterprise itself, STEP has leveraged its nearly 30 years of experience in automation and intelligent technologies, along with its core technological expertise, to develop the eMES system. Rooted in STEP deep understanding of real-world pain points, the eMES system has been thoroughly validated and refined within STEP own factories before its official launch. Moving forward, it will be seamlessly integrated into STEP comprehensive smart manufacturing solutions, which will be offered to customers. The eMES team has consistently focused on R&D and innovation, creating a robust product offering that represents the evolutionary direction of traditional MES systems and positions STEP as a leader in both the domestic and global markets.
At the press conference, Wang Liming, Executive Vice Chairman of the China Machine Tool Industry Association, and Gao Xuan, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Association, delivered remarks. They highly praised STEP achievements over the years in digital technology services and expressed great anticipation for the newly released eMES system.
In his speech, Tian Yongxin, General Manager of the Intelligent Manufacturing Division of STEP, stated that STEP is not merely a solutions expert; rather, it is committed to becoming a digital factory specialist, with its investment focused on areas such as machine vision, MES, and factory energy management software. By integrating low-code and management software capabilities, STEP has innovatively launched the eMES system, helping enterprises achieve data-driven business models.
