A Cool Summer, a Different Kind of Childhood Fun | The 3rd STEP Employee Children’s Talent Show Held

On July 8, the “Cool Summer—The 3rd STEP Employee Children’s Talent Show,” hosted by the STEP Trade Union and co-organized by the Youth League Committee, was held at STEP Suyi Road Factory. More than 100 people, including children and their parents from over 40 families, took part in the event.
As you step through the entrance of the office building, colorful balloons immediately catch your eye. Families arriving are guided by volunteers; children gradually collect their name tags adorned with their own photos and receive gifts, then sign the guestbook and pose for family group photos.
The little ones at the scene were all different: some bounced and jumped joyfully, full of energy and liveliness; others were mischievous and playful, completely unrestrained; and still others were timid and shy, hiding behind their parents. Each one was adorable and endearing, instantly filling the hall with laughter and cheerful chatter.
At the lobby entrance, robots are handing out ice cream to the children. In the lobby, robots are playing Gomoku (Five-in-a-Row) with the kids. In the restaurant, families team up to take part in games such as hand-painted T-shirt design, clothing relay races, kangaroo jumps, Jenga, and blindfolded baby-carrying contests—everywhere is filled with joy and warmth.
In addition to interactive games and a static art exhibition, the auditorium also featured exciting performances. Little Wan Wenjun performed the dance “Feeling So Cute,” Xu Tongmo sang “The Pig Is Fully Fed,” Zhang Xiaoyang played and sang on guitar the song “Hometown,” Du Ziyue danced to “On The Way To School,” Wang Liuxing gave a solo performance on the hulusi of “Sweet as Honey,” Huang Anruo performed the Latin dance “Cha-Cha,” Xu Xiwen danced to “The Little Girl Picking Mushrooms,” and Wang Sihan performed the ethnic dance “The King Told Me to Patrol the Mountains.”
At the end of the event, the children watched the cartoon “Tom and Jerry” together with their parents. Outside, the sun was blazing hot, but inside the hall a gentle breeze kept the air pleasantly cool. Watching the amusing antics of Tom and Jerry brought a special kind of refreshing comfort.
