“Lixunda Cup” Industrial Robot Competition
On July 16, the 2017 Shunde District Vocational Skills Competition—the “Lixunda Cup” Industrial Robot Competition—was held in Foshan City, Guangdong Province. The event was organized by the Shunde District Civil Affairs and Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, among other agencies, and co-organized by Lixunda Robotics and the Shunde Robotics Association. Forty contestants from companies in the district took part in the competition, which was held at the Lixunda Training Center. Foshan TV broadcasted the competition live via online streaming, sharing exciting moments from the event in real time.

STEP Robot – Official Robot of the Competition
The STEP SA1400 robot is the designated competition robot for this event. The competition will be conducted in a hands-on format, focusing on handling and palletizing programming as well as Tangram puzzle arrangement. Contestants will need to develop and debug robotic handling applications, and use the teach pendant to operate the robot, performing tasks such as gripping, palletizing, and navigating around obstacles to reach the designated target location and complete the corresponding actions. The quality of completion will be evaluated based on the speed, precision, and accuracy of these actions.
STEP Robot Pre-Match Performance
The competition is fierce; the winner stands out.
During the competition, each contestant showcased their signature skills and fully demonstrated their professional expertise and exemplary work ethic. After a day of intense competition, 15 contestants ultimately stood out. Among them, Feng Jinyuan, Wu Shouyong, and He Ziwen won first place in this competition and were awarded the title of “Shunde District Technical Expert.” Additionally, four companies—including Guangdong Lixunda Robot System Co., Ltd.—received the “Outstanding Organization Award.”
