Carrying Forward Compassion | The 11th STEP High School Scholarship Award Ceremony and Other Honors Ceremony Held

On May 25, the 11th STEP High School Scholarship and the 3rd Class Advisor Award Ceremony was held at Jiading No. 2 Middle School in Shanghai. Ji Yi, Chairman of STEP, presented awards to the outstanding teachers and students from Jiading No. 2 Middle School and Nanxiang Middle School.
In his speech, Zhou Fenglin, the principal of Jiading No. 2 Middle School, stated that STEP has always been deeply concerned about and supportive of the education cause, helping countless students pursue their dreams and fostering a widespread cultural trend of using science and education to rejuvenate the nation. As Mencius said, “When one achieves success, one should help all under heaven.” STEP is a company with a global vision—embracing love and sharing it with others. You students are the “masters” who will carry forward this spirit of love, and you must repay the abundant care you’ve received from society, school, and family through concrete actions.
In his speech, Chairman Ji Yi stated that STEP is committed to technological innovation and embraces its mission for the times, continuing to strive to closely integrate school education with society’s demand for talent. Upon learning that the robotics team from Nanxiang Middle School had won first prize in the “Shining Star” category at the 2016 Beijing World Robot Contest, Chairman Ji Yi expressed his warm welcome to students who wish to visit and experience the research and production facilities of STEP Robotics. He also expressed his hope that these students, once they have achieved their academic goals, will contribute to the development of China’s robotics industry and help build a stronger and more prosperous nation.
STEP High School Scholarship
Established in 2007, this scholarship is designed to recognize outstanding high school students from Nanxiang and encourage them to study diligently, thereby becoming valuable talents for the nation. Over the past 11 years, more than 200 teachers and students have received this award. Among those who have been honored, some have now grown into capable young professionals, soaring high in the blue sky and working hard in various fields across the country.
