STEP India Product Recommendation Meeting
On April 9, STEP, together with its local agent, held a product launch event for the AS380/AS360 control system in Ahmedabad, India. More than 120 customers attended the event; they came from elevator maintenance and component companies in Gujarat state. With 7,000 elevator maintenance and component companies operating in the state, Gujarat is a key region for STEP business expansion in India.
At the meeting, STEP introduced the company’s products and technical specifications of the AS380/AS360 control systems. The agents shared their experiences collaborating with STEP and provided insights into the on-site application of these products. A technical Q&A session was also held on-site. Encouraged by the enthusiastic response from customers, the agents expressed their hope to organize more such promotional events in additional cities, such as New Delhi and Mumbai, in the future, thereby further enhancing the visibility and influence of STEP products in India.
Exhibiting at the St. Petersburg International Industrial Fair in Russia
The 2017 St. Petersburg International Industrial Fair was held in St. Petersburg from March 14 to 16. This fair is one of the most influential and largest industrial exhibitions in the region, held annually. This year’s exhibition covered an area of 13,000 square meters, attracting exhibitors from 37 countries and regions including the United States, Canada, Germany, Finland, France, the United Kingdom, Poland, Russia, Belarus, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, and China. The number of professional visitors reached 16,500.
At the exhibition, STEP showcased motion control products such as industrial frequency converters, servo drives, and industrial robots. These products can be applied to forging and pressing equipment, bending machines, laser systems, metal surface treatment facilities, welding equipment, machine tools, compressors, pumps, transmission devices, and more. During the event, STEP collected hundreds of customer business cards, and its products received widespread acclaim from customers.
It is reported that from January to March 2017, the bilateral trade volume of goods between China and Russia reached 15.9 billion U.S. dollars. China is Russia’s fifth-largest export market and its largest import source. Trade relations between China and Russia are robust, and Chinese industrial products enjoy promising market prospects in Russia.
