Another accolade from the association! STEP has been awarded the “Leading Pioneer” prize for smart manufacturing.

On April 10, the first meeting of the second session of the Shanghai Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Association’s membership congress was held. At the meeting, a new board of directors and its leadership team were elected. Meanwhile, the congress also recognized outstanding member units and individuals. STEP was awarded the “Leading Pioneer Award,” and Mr. Chen Long of STEP was presented with the “Outstanding Contribution Award.”
Tang Wenkan, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, attended the meeting and extended his congratulations to the newly elected Board of Directors and its leadership team. He also expressed full recognition and sincere gratitude for the association’s work. He pointed out that Shanghai is now fully implementing the Smart Factory Leading Plan and advancing the “20035” Project. In this process, the association and all its member units are expected to serve as “construction workers,” “publicity teams,” and “vital forces” in Shanghai’s drive toward intelligent manufacturing.
Since joining the association, STEP has closely integrated its membership responsibilities with Shanghai’s manufacturing transformation and upgrading. Leveraging its independent R&D and customized development capabilities in core technologies and products—including robot control systems, key components, and algorithms—STEP has built a core business driven by intelligent manufacturing, providing industry users with comprehensive smart manufacturing solutions and helping them upgrade to digital and intelligent factories. On the other hand, STEP itself is fully committed to advancing toward intelligent manufacturing; products such as robots, elevator control cabinets, and integrated drive-control units have all achieved digital and intelligent production, setting an exemplary standard for the industry.
