Leaders from China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH) and Haier Group reviewed the history of their cooperation and looked ahead to its future prospects.

Zhang Xiaolun welcomed the visit by the delegation from Haier Group. He noted that China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH) and Haier Group enjoy a solid foundation of cooperation and have achieved remarkable results together. Looking ahead to the 15th Five-Year Plan period, both sides should jointly create a new paradigm for high-level scientific and technological innovation, collaboratively establish new benchmarks for intelligent manufacturing and green transformation, jointly promote new models for urban renewal and smart living, co-build a globally resilient and secure supply chain system, jointly foster cross-sectoral talent development mechanisms, and work hand in hand to write a new chapter of win-win cooperation.

Zhou Yunjie expressed his gratitude for the long-term support provided by Sinomach. He noted that Sinomach, as the “national team” in the machinery industry, enjoys significant advantages in technological innovation, equipment manufacturing, and engineering development. He expressed his hope that both sides will deepen their cooperation in areas such as business synergy, co-creation of application scenarios, joint R&D, ecosystem building, cultural exchange, co-development of business models, and capital collaboration, thereby jointly reaching new heights of strategic synergy.

As a new member of the Haier Group and a key player in its strategic layout for intelligent manufacturing, STEP will take the strategic cooperation between Sinomach and Haier Group as an opportunity to leverage its technological and industrial strengths in areas such as robotics, variable-frequency drives, motion control, and elevator control systems, thereby actively supporting the nation’s strategy of building a manufacturing powerhouse. In Sinomach’s core sectors—including machinery, energy, transportation, automotive, light industry, shipbuilding, metallurgy, construction, electronics, environmental protection, and aerospace—STEP will deepen cooperation in scientific research and development, service provision, exploration of intelligent manufacturing, green and low-carbon development, and global industrial chain integration. Together, we will move forward hand in hand, pooling our strengths to help Sinomach achieve deeper progress in intelligence, greenness, and digitalization, and contribute to elevating China’s manufacturing sector to the high end of the global value chain.
