Recently, a delegation led by Shang Zhanchao, Secretary of the Shaanxi Provincial Energy Conservation Association, along with representatives from relevant government departments, key enterprises, and academic institutions in Shaanxi Province, visited Shanghai to engage in exchanges under the theme “Working Together for a Green Future.” As an important stop on this visit, STEP Frequency Conversion welcomed the delegation on November 25. During the visit, both sides conducted an in-depth discussion on the application and cooperation of energy-saving technologies in the industrial sector.

The purpose of this visit by the delegation is to facilitate connections between enterprises in Shanghai and Shaanxi in the field of energy conservation and environmental protection. Accompanied by the STEP team, the guests toured the company’s showroom and factory, gaining a detailed understanding of STEP latest technologies and solutions in energy efficiency management—including variable-frequency drives, robotics, elevator energy savings, and transportation control.

At the symposium, Mr. Li Xiaoyong, General Manager of STEP Variable Frequency Drive System, warmly welcomed the visiting delegation and pointed out: “Shaanxi, as a major national energy hub, is now comprehensively promoting a green and low-carbon industrial transformation. Both sides focused on exploring application cases and energy-saving potential of variable-frequency technology in typical scenarios such as mine ventilation, coal mine hoisting, and chemical process pumps. STEP stated that this exchange has provided the company with valuable market insights and will continue to drive product innovation and service upgrades to better meet the demands of the industry’s green transformation.

During their stay in Shanghai, the delegation also visited several STEPeng ecological partners, covering areas such as high-efficiency pumps, coal transportation management, energy management services, and fluid system upgrades, thereby further broadening the scope of cooperation between Shanghai and Shaanxi in the field of energy conservation.
STEP hopes to take this exchange as a starting point to forge long-term strategic partnerships with its Shaanxi-based collaborators, with a particular focus on industrial energy conservation and efficiency enhancement.
