Benchmark Honor: Rising to the Top as a National-Level Key “Little Giant” Enterprise

In the second half of 2025, the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Services announced the “Proposed Funding Plan for the Initial Grant Subsidies for the Second Batch of Key ‘Little Giant’ Enterprises under the 2025 Central Special Fund for SME Development.” Shenzhen Zhongweixing Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Zhongweixing”) was successfully selected as one of the 83 specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative “top performers” in Shenzhen, thereby becoming a core representative of China’s new-quality productive forces.

Zhongweixing has successfully achieved a pivotal leap—from a provincial-level “specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative” SME to a national-level “Little Giant” enterprise specializing in such qualities, and then to a nationally designated key “Little Giant” enterprise. Among the more than 17,600 national-level “Little Giant” enterprises already cultivated nationwide, Zhongweixing has stood out remarkably, completing an important “triple jump” on the ladder of high-quality enterprise development.

By the end of 2025, national policies will have supported approximately 140,000 provincial- and national-level specialized, sophisticated, and new (SSN) enterprises, among which about 17,600 are national-level SSN “Little Giant” enterprises. However, only around 2,200 enterprises have been recognized as national-level “key” Little Giants—accounting for roughly 1.5% of the total number of enterprises under the first two programs. This clearly underscores the high value and growth potential of the national-level “key” Little Giants.
