On December 25, the event “East-West Collaboration, Linking to the Future—Qin Chuang Yuan·Qinghe Plan: A Joint Initiative for Innovation and Integration in the Robotics Industry” was successfully held in Shenzhen. At the start of the event, Hou Xiaolin, member of the Science and Technology Working Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee, Party Secretary and Director of the Provincial Science and Technology Resource Coordination Center, delivered a speech in which he introduced Shaanxi’s provincial conditions and its abundant science and education resources, particularly the development journey of the Qin Chuang Yuan innovation-driven platform. During the event, STEP and the Qin Chuangyuan platform launched several substantive collaborations. At the unveiling ceremony for innovative application scenarios, Cui Yongqiang, Director of R&D at STEP Robotics, and Hou Xiaolin, Party Secretary and Director of the Shaanxi Provincial Center for Integrated Management of Scientific and Technological Resources, jointly unveiled the “Robotics Industry Innovation Application Scenario.”

Subsequently, the two parties jointly unveiled three specialized scenarios: the “Yunxia Series High-Speed SCARA Robots,” the “Intelligent Collaborative Robot Palletizing Workstation,” and the “Intelligent Robot Digital Twin Simulation Software Platform.” The implementation of these scenarios marks a new stage in the collaboration between the two parties in the fields of advanced robot R&D and intelligent solutions, providing a model example for complementary industrial chains between eastern and western regions.

During the signing ceremony, STEP deepened its connection with the Qin Chuangyuan ecosystem. Ma Feng, Director of STEP Xi’an Research Institute, on behalf of the company, signed agreements with Shenzhen Taifeng Precision Mould and Xi’an Haichuanghui Technology for “STEP Research Institute to Settle in the Qin Chuangyuan Haichuanghui Innovation Center” and “Strategic Cooperation for the Digital Transformation of Taifeng Precision Mould,” respectively.

STEP will leverage its core technologies—such as industrial robot control systems and servo drives—and, through industrial chain collaboration, provide digital transformation support to partner companies. This will promote the integrated innovation of robotics technology with traditional manufacturing, helping to build an ecosystem characterized by “joint technological research, co-creation of application scenarios, and integrated industrial development.”

During the special sharing session, Cui Yongqiang, R&D Director of Estun Robotics, presented on the topic “Estun Robotics’ Journey toward Intelligent Upgrades,” sharing the company’s practical achievements—from technological breakthroughs to real-world application scenarios. He explained that Estun focuses on control technologies based on algorithms and software, deeply cultivating three key areas: industrial robots, smart elevators, and industrial automation. By fostering the deep integration of AI with industrial applications, Estun is driving the manufacturing industry toward a new era of embodied intelligence. The presentation sparked great interest among enterprises from Shaanxi and Shenzhen, laying a solid foundation for future technology collaborations.
