The Xindashida SR220/2700 industrial robot is applied in the PACK segment of the lithium-ion battery industry.

Project Background
With the explosive growth in demand for lithium batteries in fields such as new-energy vehicles and energy storage, large-scale production of lithium battery modules (PACKs) has become a core industry requirement. Energy-storage and power-battery modules are relatively large in size and weight—single cells can weigh tens of kilograms. Traditional manual handling is inefficient and poses safety risks, making it urgently necessary to deploy high-load industrial robots to automate processes such as material loading and stacking.
Customer needs
Pain points in the large-package feeding stage of lithium battery PACK assembly:
• Operational Stability: When handling heavy battery cells, the robot’s dynamic stability is easily affected by high inertia, which may lead to positioning deviations.
• Rapid and flexible tooling change: The lithium battery PACK production line needs to accommodate different cell models and module designs, requiring robots to have rapid adjustment capabilities.
• High safety requirements: Lithium batteries pose risks of flammability and explosiveness, so they must be handled with care to avoid collisions or electrostatic interference. Robots must feature high levels of protection (such as IP67 wrist protection) and dustproof designs, while also meeting relevant safety certifications (e.g., CE, CR).
• Complex processes: After material loading, multiple steps such as stacking, welding, and inspection need to be seamlessly connected. The robot must work in coordination with systems like vision systems and force control systems.

Proposal Description
The SR220/2700 model from Xindashida, equipped with vibration suppression functionality, can effectively mitigate end-effector jitter during operation when paired with a large-eccentric lithium-ion battery fixture. Moreover, thanks to its long arm reach (2700 mm) and strong wrist load capacity, it can stably handle large-size, high-inertia battery cells and is well-suited for eccentric, long-distance operations in complex working environments.
Scheme advantages
• Vibration suppression: Based on the received data, calculate the available area of the current pallet and the area of each board. • Intelligent integration: Can be integrated with MES systems to optimize the entire process, enabling real-time monitoring and dynamic adjustments.
• High protection: The entire device features an IP65 rating and a dustproof design, while also meeting safety certifications (CE, CR).
• Enhanced efficiency: Industrial robots can operate continuously around the clock, replacing dozens of workers and significantly boosting production capacity while reducing labor costs.

Scheme Composition
The project is equipped with one set of Xindash SR220/2700 large-package feeding workstation.
