Project Background
Automation technology has consistently been driving the upgrading and transformation of the manufacturing industry, and this trend is particularly pronounced in high-temperature environments. In traditional factory production models, workers are required to operate for extended periods in high-temperature conditions, which not only makes them prone to fatigue and health issues but also affects their work efficiency and production quality.
Therefore, as the tile industry continues to develop, the traditional manual palletizing method has become increasingly unable to meet the demands for production efficiency and product quality, prompting the emergence of automated tile palletizing workstations.

Customer needs
• Diverse specifications: Due to the characteristics of the tile industry, the buffer zone stores various finished products. To meet production demands, the packaging end needs to frequently change molds.
• Real-time adjustment of spacing between pallet layers: Due to variations in outer packaging materials, different customers have customized packaging for their products. Even for the same product, the settling behavior between layers varies during palletizing. Therefore, automation systems need to account for adjusting the spacing between layers.
• Simple operation: Ceramic factory workers generally lack experience in automated operations; simplifying operations is essential for ensuring stable production.
• Safety Assurance: Given the high-frequency interaction between packers and palletizers, safety devices must be installed to prioritize the safety of the packer when the robot and the packer are working on the same side.
