At this Chengdu Elevator Exhibition, Shanghai STEP Electric prominently showcased its SmartX1.0 contactless intelligent elevator control cabinet, which boasts industry-leading technology. The cabinet incorporates cutting-edge technologies such as STO (Safe Torque Off), electronic star-delta switching, safe brake control, and integrated EMC solutions, addressing key pain points and user needs—including noise issues, low-voltage electrical failures, bulky size, and EMC challenges.

Focusing on the aftermarket for elevators, STEP has unveiled “Xiao Xin,” a digitally transformed smart system. This system offers a user-friendly, end-to-end experience—from on-site surveys and assessment for renovation and upgrades, through solution provision, configuration generation, and order confirmation—all seamlessly integrated into a single, convenient workflow. The backend system handles the vast majority of technical matching tasks. Meanwhile, intelligent debugging via Bluetooth provides users with a variety of intuitive debugging interface modes to choose from, making the debugging interface and input methods more convenient and easy to use than ever before. For challenging on-site issues, the system intelligently offers code analysis and troubleshooting recommendations, supported by an AI assistant and readily available human support, significantly enhancing its user-friendliness for frontline personnel.

Meanwhile, STEP also showcased its new line of energy-efficient elevator products. These products feature highly efficient and energy-saving design principles as well as advanced energy-feedback technology, enabling conventional elevators to achieve energy consumption reductions of 27% to 45%. This aligns perfectly with today’s global demand for energy conservation and environmental protection. Against the backdrop of green and environmentally friendly practices becoming a key trend in industry development, STEP energy-efficient products have attracted considerable attention from both exhibitors and visitors.
