On February 2, 2024, the STEP Lecture Hall was packed to capacity as the company held its 2023 Annual Summary and Awards Ceremony, themed “Staying True to Our Original Aspirations and Moving Forward with Perseverance.” Leaders of the company and representatives from various business and functional departments gathered together to look back on the past year’s journey of collaboration and to look forward to the promising year of 2024.

In his annual work report, Mr. Liang Rui, President of STEP, emphasized that for products to achieve commercial success, market recognition is the greatest reward for a brand. Over the past year, STEP successfully commercialized a large number of projects, including the fourth-generation robot cabinet, an upgraded elevator control system platform, circular motor control, and a high-speed lifting drive control system for automated立体 storage. The company also achieved breakthroughs in serving key benchmark customers. In 2024, STEP will remain true to its original aspirations, stay firmly committed to its strategic direction, and return to the essence of development by focusing on cost reduction, efficiency enhancement, and the cultivation of a high-performance culture. At the same time, the company will continue to uphold its customer-centric service philosophy, fully leveraging its core strengths in “algorithm- and software-based control technologies.” Driven by both market dynamics and technological innovation, STEP will unlock its unlimited growth potential.
Ms. Ji Yi, Chairwoman of STEP, delivered a New Year’s message, sincerely thanking all the company’s employees for their hard work and outstanding achievements in 2023. She also noted that while the times are presenting enterprises with unprecedented development opportunities, they are simultaneously fraught with uncertainty. Under these circumstances, while it is crucial for enterprises to stay “generally on the right track,” only by unleashing organizational vitality can they ensure long-term sustainability. For STEP, the goal is to build an organization and culture that are simple, transparent, fair, results-oriented, and capable of responding swiftly to customer needs—thus making the company more dynamic, enabling it to penetrate the market more deeply, and effectively adapt to market changes.
The conference also conveyed a speech by Mr. Ji Defa, founder of STEP. He pointed out that the macroeconomy faces short-term challenges, but outstanding companies can continue to grow even in adverse conditions. He called on everyone to study and deeply understand Kaoru Inamori’s saying, “A recession is an opportunity for growth,” and to face challenges with a positive and optimistic attitude, seize opportunities amid crises, continuously build differentiated advantages, challenge involution, and navigate economic cycles.
The conference also recognized and rewarded the teams and individuals who had demonstrated outstanding performance over the past year.
