In February 2024, with the support and cooperation of the Peace Hotel and STEP Installation Company, the old elevator was put into use. STEP Elevator Cloud—representing a new force in elevator maintenance and upkeep! The elevator cloud monitoring terminal installed in the machine room can precisely collect elevator operation data in accordance with Shanghai’s landmark requirements, acting like a vigilant sentinel to safeguard its safety.

1. The elevator cloud platform can precisely locate elevator malfunctions and provide timely alerts as well as maintenance and repair recommendations.

By analyzing the collected elevator data, it is possible to calculate metrics such as the elevator failure rate, the rate of people being trapped, and the downtime caused by failures, thereby enabling the calculation of an elevator health score and guiding subsequent maintenance and upkeep activities.
