The fault acquisition board is used to collect fault signals from the safety chain and display them on the fault display board. The acquisition board can be divided into an upper acquisition board and a lower acquisition board. Cables from switches located closer to the top of the escalator can be connected to the upper acquisition board, while cables from switches located closer to the bottom of the escalator can be connected to the lower acquisition board. The upper and lower acquisition boards are interconnected via CAN communication, which maximizes cable savings. The ES.02/B provides 24 low-voltage signal inputs (24VDC), and its position—whether it’s the upper or lower board—is set using DIP switch SW1.
