    Used for connecting power supplies to household appliances, small electric tools, instruments and meters, as well as power and lighting installations with rated voltages of 300/500V and below.

     

    Main features

     

    Ambient temperature: 0℃ to 40℃ (for mobile installation). During a short circuit (within 5 seconds), the maximum conductor temperature shall not exceed 70℃ for RVV-type cables and not exceed 90℃ for RVV-90-type cables.
    Bending radius: For cables with an outer diameter of 25 mm or less, the bending radius should be no less than 4 times the cable’s outer diameter; for cables with an outer diameter of 25 mm or more, the bending radius should be no less than 6 times the cable’s outer diameter.
    Material requirements: The conductor shall be a bare copper circular flexible conductor conforming to GB/T 3956-2008/IEC 60228:2004 and JB/T 8734.3-2016. The insulation for RVV-type cables shall comply with PVC/D type as specified in GB/T 5023.1-2008/IEC 60227-1:1997, and the jacket shall conform to PVC/ST5 type. For RVV-90-type cables, the insulation shall comply with PVC/E, and the jacket shall conform to PVC/ST10.
