They can be applied in a wide range of fields, including robotics, semiconductors, metalworking, packaging machinery, plastics processing, tire manufacturing, glass machinery, printing machinery, logistics conveyors, and building automation.
MDP Modular Drive Platform
1. The EM-C series networked servo system is a brand-new bus-based servo product developed on the basis of Xinshida’s modular drive platform, MDP (Modular Drive Platform). MDP seamlessly integrates green design principles with modular design methodologies, enabling it to simultaneously meet both functional and environmental requirements of the product. Adopting systems engineering principles, MDP strictly adheres to the modular division guidelines of high cohesion and low coupling. This allows individual modules to be designed, manufactured, debugged, and modified independently, ensuring their standalone operation and facilitating the fulfillment of diverse, specialized customer customization needs. Moreover, MDP features hardware abstraction-based design and standardized software and hardware parameters and structural interfaces, making it easy to achieve interchangeability among modules and thus enabling them to meet the requirements of different product series and specifications.
2. The excellent hierarchical structure enables the servo software equipped with MDP to run on various CPU hardware platforms, seamlessly integrating single-CPU control of 1-8-axis servo products with bus technology. Moreover, MDP allows users to select the necessary software and hardware modules based on their specific requirements, match them with more cost-effective hardware, and quickly develop customized products tailored to their individual needs.
3. The hardware and structural modules of the MDP standard can reduce or eliminate adverse impacts on the environment, and facilitate reuse, upgrades, maintenance, as well as disassembly, recycling, and disposal after product end-of-life.
