Xinglinna-Ω Series Servo | Supporting the China Robotics Summit
2019-05-15
The 6th China Robot Summit and Smart Economy Talent Summit, themed "Machine Intelligence Connects Everything and Empowers All Things," opened grandly on May 9 in Yuyao City, Zhejiang Province. Distinguished scholars and experts from across the robotics industry—over a thousand specialists, academics, and business leaders—gathered together on the shores of Siming Lake, surrounded by verdant hills and shimmering waters, to discuss cutting-edge applications and technological breakthroughs in robotics, foster collaboration and exchange within the industry, and jointly witness how “Robotics Plus” is empowering various sectors and industries.

With Germany’s core drive and control technologies, combined with China’s smart manufacturing concepts for factories, Singringa delivers exceptional drive and control product experiences and cutting-edge solutions to its users.
Founded in 1982 in Bavaria, Germany, Sigriner specializes in the technological development of drive and control products. In 2003, Sigriner successfully joined forces with Shanghai STEP Electric Co., Ltd., marking a new milestone for STEP Sigriner Elektronik GmbH. In 2016, as the wave of Intelligent Manufacturing 2025 swept across China, Sigriner teamed up with a local Chinese technology team to develop the Ω series of servo drives.
At the summit’s main venue, the human-machine chess match featuring SingularityNet’s drive-control technology has drawn widespread attention from experts, scholars, and industry engineers. AI enthusiasts have been itching to put their skills to the test and eagerly stepped onto the stage to play against the robot.
Human-computer match
The on-site human-machine chess-playing equipment uses the Ωm-N1 series servo drives, a multi-axis product launched by Sigriner. This series includes a rectifier unit (AC 200V) as well as integrated three-axis and four-axis drive units (DC 300V).
Multi-axis series
This product has the following features:
• Integrated four-axis design for easy installation and space-saving: 3kW rectifier + four-axis drive; the effective working area of the four-axis drive is equivalent to the size of an A4 sheet of paper.
• FPGA hardware current loop ≥ 3.5 kHz
• Supports motors with interfaces for various encoders (Tama River, Nikon, Panasonic, etc.)
• Obtain current feedforward via a Kalman observer to achieve a position-following error range of ≤ 100 μs.
• Bus-based communication, compatible with EtherCAT device controllers from multiple brands.
