“STEP” Included in the First Batch of Shanghai’s Key Trademark Protection List

 


To further strengthen trademark and intellectual property protection in Shanghai, implement the 100 major measures for Shanghai’s expanded opening-up, promote the development of Shanghai’s “Four Major Brands,” intensify efforts to crack down on infringements upon the exclusive rights of key trademarks, continuously establish and improve long-term regulatory mechanisms for protecting key trademarks, and fully create a favorable environment for intellectual property protection, the Shanghai Administration for Industry and Commerce announced the “First Batch of Shanghai Key Trademark Protection List” on November 2, 2018.
 
This list includes White Rabbit (WHITE RABBIT and its logo, Guanshengyuan (Group) Co., Ltd.), Zhonghua (Shanghai Meijiajing Daily Chemical Co., Ltd.), M&G (Shanghai M&G Stationery Co., Ltd.), UnionPay (China UnionPay Co., Ltd.), Xinmin Evening News (Wenhui Xinmin United Press Group), and Baosteel (Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd.). STEP (Shanghai STEP Electric Co., Ltd.) Wait—altogether, 193 “key trademarks” have been listed.
