On January 24, the “Shanghai Robot Welding and Debugging Skills Competition,” hosted by the Shanghai Robotics Industry High-Skill Talent Training Base and co-organized by STEP Robot Company, was held at STEP.
This competition aims to promote the development and cultivation of highly skilled professionals in Shanghai’s industrial robotics welding field, thereby fostering a positive social atmosphere that values talent and honors skills.
Competition events consist of three main aspects: welding robot setup and adjustment, programming and debugging, and system operation and optimization. These events are designed to assess the operator’s proficiency in mastering the robotic welding workflow, as well as their understanding of key work procedures and important precautions.
Competition Rules: Participants compete in pairs, with a competition time of 100 minutes. Rankings will be determined based on final scores. After a fiercely competitive showdown, Liu Zhaopeng and Hu Qunhe from the After-Sales Service Department of STEP Robotics took first place in this competition with a total score of 88 points.
