Xiao Ao has been included in the Recommended Directory of Smart Manufacturing Suppliers.
On February 5, at the Smart Manufacturing Promotion Conference hosted by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, the “First Batch of Recommended Suppliers of Smart Manufacturing System Solutions in Shanghai” was announced. Shanghai Xiaoa Xiangrong Automotive Industry Equipment Co., Ltd. was included on the list, and Tian Yongxin, General Manager of Xiaoa, received the corresponding certificate.
Enterprises included in this program will enjoy the following preferential conditions: 1) Priority inclusion in the national and Shanghai municipal programs for cultivating system solution providers; priority consideration when applying for special government funds such as the National Smart Manufacturing Special Fund and the Shanghai Municipal First-Of-Its-Kind High-End Intelligent Equipment Breakthrough Fund, as well as the Shanghai Industrial Transformation and Upgrading Investment Fund; and multiple forms of support in areas such as talent recruitment and land use. 2) Priority referral to banks, financial leasing companies, venture capital firms, and other financial institutions for needs related to bank loans, financial leasing, equity financing, and other financial services. 3) Priority participation in market-matching events organized by the government or industry associations, enabling them to gain insight into user demand for intelligent transformation and upgrading.
Xiao Ao Elected as a Vice-President Unit of the Intelligent Manufacturing Association
At the founding conference of the Shanghai Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Association, held concurrently, Shanghai Xiaoa Xiangrong Automotive Industry Equipment Co., Ltd. was elected as a vice-president unit of the association, and Shanghai STEP Robot Co., Ltd. was elected as a director unit. Xiaoa and STEP Robot are key players in STEP intelligent manufacturing sector. With Xiaoa now included in Shanghai’s Recommended Catalog for Intelligent Manufacturing and elected as a vice-president of the association, and STEP Robot elected as a director, this will provide strong impetus for the development of STEP intelligent manufacturing business.
At the conference, Tian Yongxin, Vice President of STEP and General Manager of Xia'ao, delivered a report titled “STEP Transformation and Development from Traditional Manufacturing to an Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Enterprise.” Mr. Tian stated that during its transformation, STEP has taken “Made in China 2025” as its guiding principle and adhered to a dual-drive strategy: prioritizing organic growth driven by independent technological innovation, while supplementing it with external growth through the integration of industrial capital to leverage resources across the intelligent manufacturing value chain. As a result, STEP has established a complete intelligent manufacturing value chain encompassing “key components—robot bodies—system integration applications.” Faced with growing market demand and an increasingly competitive landscape, STEP will focus on addressing technological and capacity bottlenecks, thereby making its contribution to advancing the development of intelligent manufacturing in China.
