As the New Year’s bells ring once again, bringing with them a warm and festive atmosphere, the Xinshi Da 2016 Annual Summary Meeting and the 2017 Spring Festival Gala were solemnly held on January 19 in the auditorium of Xinshi Da’s factory on Siji Road in Shanghai.

Chairman Ji Yi of STEP delivered a speech, beginning by saying: “Over the past year, the external environment has been full of ups and downs. Yet, despite all challenges, we’ve seen everyone staying true to our original aspirations and moving forward with courage. What has sustained us? It’s our commitment to our customers, our sense of responsibility toward all our shareholders, and the power of the shared dream we all hold dear. With the new year comes new hope.” Chairman Ji Yi went on to say: “First, STEP has domestic subsidiaries including the Electrical Business Division, Robotics, Motors, Cables, Zhongweixing, Xia’ao, Huitong, and Yixin. Abroad, we have subsidiaries in Germany, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Brazil, and other regions. I hope that under our shared vision, all these subsidiaries can forge a unified corporate culture and generate powerful synergies. Second, I hope our products, services, and overall spirit will continue to win high praise from our customers. We must become a company that is renowned for its brand, its reputation, and its sense of responsibility. Third, I encourage all employees to bring forth the determination, confidence, and perseverance needed for a second entrepreneurial journey. Over the past two decades and more, STEP founding team has poured in extraordinary diligence and devoted countless precious years to achieving today’s success. I hope everyone will learn from this quality of hard work and resilience, embracing a spirit of dedication and willingness to take on challenges without fear of loss. Right now, our company needs even more individuals who are willing to take on greater responsibility and contribute wholeheartedly to realizing our shared dream. We are family!”
Time flies, and the way of heaven rewards those who work diligently. At this conference, we honored nine outstanding employees of STEP for the year 2016. In their respective positions, they have perfectly embodied STEP corporate values of integrity, innovation, and excellence. Under the company’s strategic plan, they have achieved remarkable work results and earned high praise from both internal and external clients. They are: Wang Ding from Xiaoa Company, Wang Qiang from the Robotics Company, Shi Yanliang from Zhongweixing Company, Dong Yucheng, Xu Fengjin from the Cable Company, Xing Hui from the Motor Company, He Fan from Huitong Company, Li Alan from Yixin International, and Lu Ning from the Electrical Business Division.

STEP Award-Winning Employees

Luning delivered an acceptance speech on behalf of the outstanding employees. In his remarks, he expressed gratitude in three key ways: First, he thanked the company’s leadership for giving him the opportunity to transition from a R&D engineer to a manager on the production floor; second, he thanked all his colleagues who had supported him—after all, their collective efforts had yielded these remarkable achievements; and third, he thanked the company’s leadership for their encouragement and support, which had provided him with a solid platform to fully realize his personal ideas. Finally, he concluded by saying that although the role transition was significant and posed considerable challenges, he had gained valuable knowledge about lean manufacturing. He emphasized that in life, we should constantly challenge ourselves and muster the courage and determination to overcome difficulties. He concluded by expressing his wish to join hands with everyone again in 2017 to achieve even greater success.

The outstanding projects of STEP in 2016 included the product cost-reduction project, the Otis Electromechanical Dedicated System, the promotion of mechanical product sales, and the first breakthrough project for the intelligent production line of the six-model welding platform. All the award-winning projects had been completed and achieved excellent results within 2016, fully demonstrating their cross-departmental collaboration capabilities as well as strong project management skills in planning, organization, and coordination.

STEP New Year Gala

Following the awards ceremony came the STEP Spring Festival Gala—The 2017 STEP New Year Celebration. The opening dance, “Dancing Youth,” was full of energy and passion; the lively and humorous dance “BANG BANG BANG” brought laughter and joy; the cheerful and heartwarming song “She Said” filled the air with warmth and affection; the dazzling magic show “Playing Cards” left the audience amazed; the uniquely innovative dance “Little Dance Forest” showcased extraordinary creativity; the graceful and delicate classical dance “Intoxicated Crimson Face” captivated with its elegance and subtlety; and the majestic “STEP Song” resonated powerfully with grandeur. Each performance was distinctive and deeply meaningful, perfectly embodying both the youthful vitality of STEP employees and the company’s remarkable corporate spirit.
