Four accolades bestowed! STEP shines at the 4th Elevator Industry Awards Ceremony, “Chinese Dream • Brand Dream” extravaganza.

On October 15, the fourth “Chinese Dream·Brand Dream” Elevator Industry User-Preferred Brand Selection and Awards Ceremony, hosted by Sail Media, was solemnly held at the Shanghai Hongqiao Xinhua Lian Sofitel Hotel.
This event awarded a total of 18 prizes, including 9 brand-related awards and 9 comprehensive awards, covering everything from complete elevators and components to brands, projects, and individuals—offering a comprehensive and multi-faceted showcase of the achievements in brand development within the elevator industry. During this selection process, STEP was honored with four awards in total.

Wang Peng, head of the elevator control systems business unit at STEP Elevator, has been awarded the “Innovator in the Elevator Industry” prize. He has long been engaged in research on automatic control technology and intelligent technologies, possessing a solid theoretical foundation and extensive development experience. By closely engaging with customers and deeply understanding the market, he quickly adapted to the responsibilities brought about by his role transition and took on these new duties with great dedication. Under his leadership, his team has seized opportunities, continuously strived for progress and innovation, and made significant contributions to the company’s thriving development.
Elevator Cloud has been awarded the “Anti-Epidemic Black Tech” prize in the elevator industry. The Elevator Cloud system comprises data collection, data transmission, a cloud-based processing platform, and service terminals. By collecting and analyzing data from every stage related to elevators, it has built a powerful, technologically advanced platform system. After adopting Elevator Cloud, users can enjoy features such as contactless elevator rides, voice-activated call buttons, cabin disinfection, remote software updates, and fault alerts. The rapid launch of STEP contactless elevator solution is made possible by the STEP Elevator Cloud platform—turning everyone’s mobile phone into an operational terminal device.
The video introduction of STEP integrated machine production line has been awarded the Annual Best Short Video in the elevator industry. STEP integrated drive-and-control smart production line is an end-to-end digital production line—a true Industry 4.0 facility. Every process step in assembly is traceable and controllable, with all data stored in the factory’s MES system. Four-axis and six-axis robots work collaboratively to enable flexible assembly. Assembly accuracy has been improved to industrial-grade ±0.1 mm. One product rolls off the line every 80 seconds. The designed annual production capacity is 200,000 units, covering five major product categories and 16 different models. By leveraging information technology, we’ve built a smart factory that fully realizes automation, informatization, and intelligent manufacturing.
It is understood that this grand ceremony has invited senior experts from China’s real estate industry association—including Professor Gu Yunchang, Chairman of the National Real Estate Chamber of Commerce Alliance—as well as seasoned professionals from leading property developers and prominent figures in the elevator industry, to jointly explore the development potential and prospects of China’s elevator sector. Nearly 300 industry elites, scholars, and representatives from mainstream media attended the event in person to witness the spectacular awards ceremony.
