STEP Elevator Control System Helps Ensure the Successful Hosting of the 2nd National Elevator Industry Vocational Skills Competition.

The finals of the 2nd National Elevator Industry Vocational Skills Competition 2021, hosted by the China Elevator Association, the China Employment Training Technical Guidance Center, and the All-China Federation of Trade Unions for Machinery, Metallurgy, and Building Materials, and organized by the Institute of Construction Mechanization Research, China Academy of Building Research Co., Ltd., the People's Government of Dezhou City, and Dezhou Technician College, with co-organizers including China Elevator Magazine, the National Elevator Quality Inspection and Testing Center, Jianyan Mechanical Inspection and Testing (Beijing) Co., Ltd., and the Dezhou Vocational Education Development Center, were successfully held in Dezhou, Shandong Province, just before National Day.
This competition, themed “New Era, New Skills, New Dreams,” is a national Class II competition approved by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. From September 26 to 29, the 144 finalists who had distinguished themselves in the national preliminary rounds competed in the final showdown at the Dezhou Technician College. After three days of intense competition among the contestants, the entire event came to a successful conclusion.
As the sole sponsor of control system competition equipment for the complete machine assembly, adjustment, and fault diagnosis module in this competition, STEP provided 20 sets of AS380 systems, human-machine interface products, and related system accessories. Additionally, STEP dispatched several experienced professionals to participate in technical support and judging duties, ensuring the stable performance of the contestants.
As a global leader in elevator control systems, STEP has been supporting various industry competitions for many years, such as the first National Elevator Installation and Maintenance Vocational Skills Competition—the “Luban Cup”—in 2017, and the Belt and Road & BRICS Skills Development and Technological Innovation Competition in 2019. In the future, STEP will continue to actively participate in a wide range of industry competitions, making its own contributions to the skill development of technical professionals in the industry and to the enhancement of application technologies for elevator control systems.
