To deeply study and grasp the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, further invigorate the grassroots Party organizations within the “Two New” enterprises, and effectively enhance the team cohesion and creativity of all Party branches at STEP, on the afternoon of April 8, the Party Committee of STEP organized a sports competition event titled “Unite and Forge Ahead—Embark on a New Journey,” with the study and implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress as its central theme. Over 20 representatives from Party members and active candidates of various Party branches within the Group participated in the event.
At the event site, the participating team members were divided into four small teams and completed a series of competitive events, including “Retracing the Long March,” “Water Retrieval from the Minefield,” and “The Great Cause of Party Founding.” These events cleverly incorporated “red elements.” In the “Retracing the Long March” segment, team members held hands along the edges of a map depicting the Long March route. Through seamless teamwork and coordination, they guided tiny balls across the map—from the starting point to the finish line—without letting them fall off. This challenge put their ability to unite and collaborate under intense test. In the “The Great Cause of Party Founding” segment, team members held up cards, each featuring a historical moment from the founding of the Communist Party of China all the way to the Grand Ceremony of National Celebration. The task required them to arrange these 30 historical moments in chronological order, drawing on what they had learned from Party history education. After a round of fierce competition, the Party branch of the Management Center narrowly emerged as the winner. The atmosphere at the scene was joyful and harmonious, with a strong sense of learning and camaraderie prevailing.
Going forward, the Party Committee of STEP will further innovate its approaches and platforms, guiding employees through a wide variety of engaging and lively activities to deeply study, thoroughly understand, and effectively disseminate the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, ensuring that the spirit of the 20th National Congress takes root, flourishes, and bears fruit within the company.
