STEP leads the 2025 Vietnam Industrial Expo, leveraging green technology to empower the industrial upgrade in Southeast Asia.
2025-11-20
From November 5 to 7, 2025, the three major business divisions of STEP Group—Variable Frequency Drives, Robotics, and Motion Control—will jointly exhibit at the Vietnam Industrial Exhibition. This exhibition not only provides a comprehensive showcase of cutting-edge products and technological achievements in energy conservation, low-carbon solutions, and intelligent manufacturing to the Southeast Asian market, but also marks a crucial step for STEP in deepening its localization strategy in Southeast Asia.

During the exhibition, STEP engaged in in-depth exchanges with numerous Vietnamese supply chain partners, aiming to provide more agile and efficient services to the regional market through joint technology development, production collaboration, and local talent recruitment. Together, we are committed to accelerating the transition toward green and intelligent manufacturing. STEP booth attracted over 800 industry professionals, who stopped by to exchange ideas. We hosted more than 100 integrators, agents, and end-users from both Vietnam and overseas markets. The response from the market was exceptionally enthusiastic, drawing widespread attention and positive feedback from Vietnamese, Japanese-Korean, and Chinese enterprises alike—thus confirming the validity and forward-looking nature of our “local operations with a global perspective” strategy.
01 Frequency Conversion: A Dual-Pronged Approach Combining High-Efficiency, Energy-Saving Technology with Localized Services
STEP is focusing on the energy-saving upgrade needs of Vietnam’s manufacturing sector, highlighting its new-generation, highly efficient and energy-saving products—such as the AS800 Series G4 high-voltage VFD, the EP6 Series high-performance engineering vector VFD, and the PD210 Series high-protection VFD specifically designed for water pumps. These products not only meet Vietnam’s green transformation requirements with their outstanding energy-saving performance but also feature a highly modular design that facilitates local adaptation and rapid service delivery. Meanwhile, STEP will deepen its collaboration with local Vietnamese partners to co-build service networks, enhancing the resilience of its local supply chain and improving customer response times, thus truly achieving “technology at your fingertips and zero-delay service.” Against the backdrop of the Vietnamese government’s active promotion of the green energy transition, STEP VFD solutions provide a reliable technological pathway for local industries to achieve low-carbon upgrades.
02 Robots: Balancing Flexible Production with Energy Conservation and Efficiency Enhancement
The SCARA robot accessory mounting demonstration platform and the SD7 series six-axis robot gluing demonstration platform, both introduced by the Robotics Division, vividly showcase STEP Robotics’ technological strengths in flexible manufacturing and energy efficiency optimization. By leveraging dynamic energy-efficiency control and precise motion planning, these robots not only enhance production line efficiency and stability but also significantly reduce overall energy consumption. This fully embodies the core principles of intelligent manufacturing—improving quality, reducing costs, and cutting carbon emissions—and provides Vietnamese local manufacturers with practical, implementable solutions for automation upgrades.
03 Operations Control: Precision Control and Energy Efficiency Management Advance in Synchronization
Centered around the five-axis coordinated dispensing workstation and the graphical parsing-based motion control workstation, the Operations & Control Division showcases a technological philosophy driven by the dual pillars of “precision motion + energy management.” Its intelligent dynamic load regulation technology not only ensures high-precision trajectory control but also optimizes the overall machine’s energy consumption, setting a new benchmark for high-speed, precision assembly in industries such as new-energy lithium batteries and 3C electronics. This series of solutions precisely meets Vietnam’s industrial sector’s dual demands for both precision and energy efficiency in its drive toward intelligent upgrades.
As the Vietnamese government has set a strategic goal of raising the share of high-tech industries to over 70% by 2030, STEP participation in this exhibition clearly demonstrates that China’s “Made in China” initiative has evolved from simply exporting products to a deeply rooted, localized approach encompassing a full ecosystem of “technology + supply chain + talent.” Looking ahead, STEP will continue to step up its investments in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. By strengthening local partnerships and deepening supply-chain collaboration, and with its commitment to innovative technology and unwavering dedication, STEP will help regional industries move toward a more efficient, greener, and smarter future.
