To further promote the innovative application of industrial robot simulation software in engineering practice and accelerate the development of high-quality, practical technical talent, STEP is now officially launching the first “STEP Cup” Robot Skills Application Competition. Centered around the STEPStudio industrial simulation software platform, this competition aims to explore the software’s real-world application value in industrial scenarios such as intelligent manufacturing and automated production lines, thereby fostering deep integration among industry, academia, and research.
The competition is open to a wide range of participants, including employees of enterprises and institutions, technical engineers, industry professionals, university faculty and students, and robotics enthusiasts. Participants are encouraged to demonstrate their technical skills and innovative thinking through real-world projects.
The event features clearly defined time milestones:
• Registration begins on November 12, 2025.
• The deadline for submitting entries is December 15, 2025.
• The final selection results will be officially announced on December 19, 2025.
The competition will award one First Prize, five Second Prizes, 20 Third Prizes, and several Excellence Awards to recognize participants who have demonstrated outstanding performance in technology application and engineering practice. All entries must be completed using the STEPStudio Competition Edition software. The organizing committee will provide a comprehensive guide for participation, software download resources, and accompanying instructional videos to help participants prepare efficiently.
