STEP showcased at the 3rd Vietnam International Elevator Exhibition and won the “Product Innovation Award.”

From November 14 to 16, 2024, the 3rd Vietnam Lift Expo was successfully held in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. The Vietnam Lift Expo is one of the most influential elevator exhibitions in Vietnam and the broader Southeast Asian region. The theme of this year’s expo was “Better Lift, Better Life.”
“As a visitor to the exhibition, I was deeply impressed. STEP showcased a series of remarkable technological products, and in particular, the DDS destination-based group control system left a lasting impression on me. After all, improving the operational efficiency of elevator systems in commercial buildings is a key demand from many clients,” said a head of an elevator manufacturer based in Ho Chi Minh City.
“Minimalist debugging is precisely what we’ve been focusing on,” said an existing user excitedly upon seeing the STEP products. “In recent years, Shida has been rapidly iterating its products, making them even easier to operate—this is much more user-friendly for our field construction personnel.”

During the exhibition, guests including Wu Guoquan, Minister-Counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, and Deng Bo, Deputy Director of the Bureau for Foreign Trade Development under the Ministry of Commerce, visited the STEP booth to exchange ideas and offer guidance.

The booth drew constant attention and attracted numerous industry professionals to stop by, observe, and ask questions.
A technical director from a Vietnamese-based elevator and component enterprise, after thoroughly examining STEP’s exhibits, couldn’t stop praising them: “STEP’s elevator solutions have already been applied in many large-scale international projects. Their proven project experience is exactly what we value—it perfectly meets our needs.” Another industry insider in Vietnam, who specializes in elevator retrofitting, echoed the same sentiment: “I’ve been closely following the latest developments in China’s elevator industry, and STEP’s new products this time are truly impressive.
