The AS710M series is a new-generation intelligent, water-cooled industrial-grade variable-frequency drive product launched by STEP to meet the demands of Industry 4.0. It adopts a common DC bus architecture and a modular design, featuring a three-phase full-bridge rectifier unit with thyristors as well as a three-phase full-bridge inverter unit using IGBT devices. Through flexible module combinations, it can be configured as either a two-quadrant VFD, a four-quadrant VFD, or a multi-drive VFD. The control unit can be equipped with various types of control algorithms, making it suitable for a wide range of applications—from power generation on ships to power consumption on the user side. The product’s design meets CE certification requirements and has already been certified by the China Classification Society.
