Stimulate new-quality productivity and promote high-end application innovation.

President Liang Rui stated that STEP has always adhered to the “Robotics Control+” philosophy, taking it as its mission to unleash new forms of productivity and drive innovation in high-end applications. After 13 years of dedicated development, STEPada has become one of the few domestic robotics companies that consistently pursue forward-looking, independent R&D, fully supporting the high-quality development of China’s manufacturing sector.

Focus on motion control, empowering intelligent manufacturing.

Since launching China’s first fully independent robotic control system in 2012, we have now developed and brought to market the SRC4 series of robot control cabinets—the world’s smallest heavy-duty robots. These cabinets achieve integrated drive and control across the entire product line. Moreover, through continuous refinement of advanced dynamic algorithms, we’ve significantly improved key performance indicators such as robot cycle time, operational stability, positioning accuracy, and noise reduction.

Based on the characteristics of different application scenarios, STEP has developed software packages suitable for a variety of functions, including welding, bending, laser cutting, material handling/loading and unloading, and palletizing. At the same time, to meet the specific needs of various industries—such as photovoltaics, footwear and apparel, tiles, automotive parts, and insulated cups—STEP also offers customized solutions.

For example, in the footwear and apparel industry, custom-developed PC software has established rich databases—including a shoe-pattern library, a feature library, and a process-parameter library—enabling accurate and rapid switching between different shoe styles. The successful application of robots in the footwear and apparel sector has not only boosted production efficiency but also ensured consistent and precise product quality. Against the backdrop of developing new-quality productivity, the footwear and apparel industrial chain has been revitalized and is now brimming with fresh vitality.

In the future, STEP will continue to uphold independent innovation and strengthen its core competitiveness. In line with the new requirements, challenges, and concepts driving the transformation and upgrading of China’s manufacturing sector, we will engage in pragmatic discussions centered on the newly proposed goal at the Two Sessions—accelerating the development of new-quality productivity—thus contributing to the sustained, rapid, and healthy development of China’s robotics industry and, more broadly, the entire manufacturing sector’s “digital and intelligent transformation.”
