On the afternoon of August 30, the Shanghai Enterprise Federation, the Shanghai Entrepreneurs Association, the Shanghai Economic Organizations Federation, and the Liberation Daily jointly held a press conference on the Top 100 Shanghai Enterprises for 2022 at the studio of the China Financial Information Center.
At the meeting, the list of Shanghai’s Top 100 Enterprises for 2022 was freshly released. The ranking of Shanghai’s Top 100 Enterprises, based on the operating revenue disclosed in the previous year’s financial reports, sends important signals about economic development every year. According to the 2022 ranking, the Top 100 enterprises as a whole showed a strong growth trend, with emerging industries experiencing rapid expansion and becoming a key driving force behind the development of these enterprises. Moreover, the operating revenue of the private Top 100 enterprises reached 2,533.84 billion yuan, representing a robust year-on-year increase of 21.86%. Despite the pandemic, Shanghai’s private enterprises have demonstrated remarkable resilience and strong growth potential.
