On December 11, the 2020 National Robotics Development Forum, themed “Smart Connectivity Empowering the Development of the Greater Bay Area,” was held in Shenzhen, Guangdong. Co-hosted by the Chinese Association of Automation and the Shenzhen Science and Technology Association, the forum brought together over 600 participants from universities, research institutes, enterprises, investment institutions, and media reporters across China, all witnessing this significant event. The forum attracted top scholars and corporate representatives from China’s robotics field and was conducted via a simultaneous online-and-offline live broadcast.
To thoroughly implement the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the Symposium for Scientists and the guiding remarks in his reply to representatives of science and technology workers, accelerate innovation in robotics technologies, applications, and services, and promote the healthy and sustainable development of the robotics industry, the Chinese Association of Automation has specially released the “2020 National Robotics Development Forum List of Demonstration Units for Robotics.” This list aims to recognize demonstration units that stand out in terms of brand influence, core technological capabilities, design and innovation prowess, and have achieved remarkable industrialization results through their valuable applications across various sectors.
A total of 37 companies made the list this time. Both STEP’s robotics company and Zhongweixing Company were included on the list simultaneously.
