The STEP Elevator Operation Characteristic Diagnostic Device (EOCD) is a tool that analyzes the health condition and ride quality of elevators by measuring the acceleration values along the X, Y, and Z axes during elevator operation, as well as the noise levels generated during operation.

Product Features
1) Quantitatively calculate the elevator’s speed, acceleration, jerk, and displacement during operation, and generate an elevator operating characteristics report.
2) After performing ISO filtering calculations separately on the X/Y/Z axes during elevator operation, obtain vibration curves and generate an elevator operating quality report.
3) Measure the noise generated during elevator operation; ☆ This feature is pending release.
4) Perform a spectral analysis (FFT) on the vibration curve to identify the vibrating components of the elevator.
5) Perform combined analysis on multiple curves to determine the location and frequency of vibration anomalies.
6) Complies with the relevant requirements of GB/T 24474—2009 “Measurement of Elevator Car Ride Quality” (has passed testing by the Elevator Testing Center of Shanghai Jiao Tong University);
7) Experts can use PC-based software to conduct in-depth analyses and provide guidance to on-site personnel on elevator maintenance.
