Loving Charity—We’re Always on the Road | A Brief Account of STEP Collaboration with the Shanlian Heart-to-Heart Teaching Support Team

In the summer of 2019, a group of caring college students packed their bags, filled with dreams, and spent an unforgettable summer vacation with children they’d never met before.

This is a caring group composed of college students from the Lianxin Teaching Support Team of Shandong University, sponsored by STEP. They have traveled to Baiyin in Gansu, Zunyi in Guizhou, Luoyang in Henan, and Xinxiang in Henan, successively carrying out charitable donations and teaching support activities.

The Lianxin Teaching Support Team of Shandong University was established in 2008. It is a student organization whose mission is to provide volunteer teaching services to primary and secondary schools in rural areas of impoverished regions, strengthen team spirit among college students, enhance their social communication and practical skills, and call on members of society to pay attention to the growth and development of children living in mountainous areas. Since its establishment, the Lianxin Teaching Support Team of Shandong University has successively won the Silver and Bronze Awards of the AkzoNobel National College Student Social Public Welfare Award, earning widespread recognition from society.

Since 2017, STEPeng has been collaborating with the Shanlian Xin Zhi Jiao Volunteer Group to support college students in giving back to society, caring for vulnerable groups, and providing assistance to children in impoverished areas.

We hope that acts of kindness and generosity can help children pursue their dreams and spread positive energy throughout society! We also look forward to welcoming more caring individuals to join us in working hand in hand, using our sense of responsibility and wisdom to create a bright future for the flowers of our motherland!
