In the Industrial Era, Driving the Future—The Xinglinna Servo Product Launch Event and Motion Control Enterprise Exchange Conference Held in Grand Style
2019-09-09
In recent years, as Chinese domestic motion control companies have continuously strengthened their technological capabilities, the trend of cooperation between domestic and international enterprises has become increasingly evident. More and more companies are combining the best of both domestic and foreign technologies with the advantages of localized services, tailoring their offerings to meet the specific needs of various industry applications and staying closely aligned with emerging technology trends such as 5G. This approach enables them to provide China’s manufacturing sector with high-quality, high-performance, and customized motion control products and solutions. The complementary partnership between Germany’s SICK and STEP Group has emerged precisely from this synergy.

On September 6, the “Sinclair Servo Product Launch Event and Motion Control Enterprise Exchange Meeting,” co-organized by China Transmission Network, Shanghai Xinglinna STEP Motor Co., Ltd., and ITES Shenzhen Industrial Fair, was grandly held in Bao'an, Shenzhen. Over a hundred executives, engineers, and technical leaders from companies specializing in 3C electronic devices, lasers, CNC technology, robotics, lithium batteries, and motion control attended the conference to discuss the development path of the industrial automation industry in the era of 5G transformation and to witness the launch of Syntronix’s Ω-series servo products in the Chinese market.
In the future, let customers forget that servos even exist.

At the start of the event, Tan Weijia, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shenzhen Robotics Association, delivered a speech.

Liu Weidong, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Motion Control Industry Alliance
Deputy Secretary-General Liu Weidong analyzed the industrial market situation in 2019. The automation market experienced a significant slowdown in growth in 2018, and in 2019, it continued to face considerable downward pressure. It is expected that, starting in 2019, as the macroeconomy warms up, the automation market will gradually return to a “new normal” growth trajectory. Benefiting from the dividends of the post-supply-side reform, the project-based market experienced relatively rapid growth in 2018/2019. Investment in intelligent manufacturing continued to grow at a high rate, with project conversions driven equally by government investment and independent corporate investment. However, the overall implementation difficulty turned out to be greater than anticipated, leaving ample room for future improvement. Key industries are nurturing new opportunities in intelligent manufacturing, and the trend of shifting from old to new growth drivers remains unchanged, as does the broader trend of industrial upgrading. Meanwhile, domestic brands are becoming increasingly mature, and the localization trend is evident—requiring continued efforts from industry peers.

Shao Yongfeng, General Manager of Shenzhen Chengzi Automation Co., Ltd.
General Manager Shao Yongfeng believes that, influenced by factors such as difficulties in recruitment, rapid product updates and iterations, and the launch of a new round of device replacement cycles with the advent of the 5G era, the 3C industry is facing an urgent need for automation upgrades. In response, 3C automation equipment manufacturers should address and excel in a number of challenges that the industry has yet to fully tackle—such as making equipment smarter, more flexible, and modular; achieving what the industry has not yet accomplished in areas like 5G and chip testing; and overcoming barriers related to high-end talent, core technologies, and market entry opportunities. As an equipment supplier with differentiated competitive advantages, we manufacture devices that meet or exceed our customers’ needs and desires, providing them with faster returns on investment and equipment that complies with future smart factory standards.

Cheng Jun, Deputy General Manager of Technology, Foshan Hongshi Laser Technology Co., Ltd.
Vice President Chengjun analyzed the current status and future prospects of the laser industry. As laser power continues to increase and cutting machine speeds and accelerations become ever higher, As critical components that ensure the precision and longevity of cutting machines, transmission parts are becoming increasingly important in terms of performance. Considering the precision grade, static and dynamic loads, service life, and other factors of linear guide rails, it is recommended that laser cutting machines use linear guide rails of H-grade or higher. The motor must meet requirements such as high stability, high precision, and fast response; it is advisable to select motors with low inertia whenever possible. The gearbox is a critical component that significantly affects cutting accuracy; when selecting one, primary considerations should include its stability, actual backlash, and input/output torque performance.

Dr. Ding Xinzhong, Central Research Institute of STEP (Group)
Dr. Ding Xinzhong proposed that, Servo products are evolving toward features such as zero debugging requirements, high performance, high power density, enhanced safety, and intelligent connectivity—simply put, “enabling customers to forget that servos even exist.” The new “All-in-One” integrated motor and drive system, along with the “multi-axis drive-and-control integrated” topological architecture, address diverse needs—ranging from applications with many or few axes, high or low power requirements, and varying degrees of physical space distribution or concentration—by fundamentally transforming conventional, complex motion control architectures. With just a single power cable, these systems significantly enhance the overall operational efficiency of the equipment. Moreover, the servo drives integrate intelligent fault diagnosis functions, fault-tolerant control, health management capabilities, and inherently safe design principles into the servo system, dramatically reducing failure risks and improving operational safety. At the same time, they achieve advanced performance features such as zero need for manual tuning, automatic parameter self-adjustment, high-precision control, and friction compensation. Additionally, the servo system design based on wide-bandgap devices has ushered in a silent mode for servo products.
A new product is launched, delivering an ultimate driving control experience.
