Cool Summer, Enjoying Every Moment | The 4th STEP Employee Children’s Talent Show Held

On July 14, the “4th Cool Summer STEP Employees’ Children’s Talent Show,” hosted by the STEP Trade Union and co-organized by the Youth League Committee, was held with great success at the Xiyi Road Factory in Shanghai. More than 30 families gathered together to enjoy the event.
As soon as the children entered the activity hall, they received a delightful gift bag. Each child beamed with joy after receiving their gifts, picked up pens, and left creative signatures on the signature wall. They also took photos together to cherish this wonderful moment.
The event venue has prepared a static arts exhibition area, where two massive floating balloons support the children’s wonderful, vivid, and highly creative artworks. These outstanding pieces naturally inspire admiration for the children’s rich imagination and creativity!
This event features a wide variety of fun and engaging parent-child interactive games, including ring-toss games that test your luck, nose-sticking activities that encourage teamwork between parents and children, tail-grabbing contests that challenge speed and reflexes, and precision-targeting ball-sticking games—all designed to keep both kids and parents thoroughly entertained and immersed in the action. In addition to these exciting games, kids also get the chance to showcase their hands-on skills through activities like flower arranging, handmade paintings, and DIY crafts—activities that they absolutely love! But even with all these games and craft projects, the kids’ boundless energy still wasn’t fully satisfied. So the organizers invited a “mysterious master”—the STEP Five-in-a-Row Robot. Facing this highly skilled “master,” the kids displayed an admirable spirit of fearless determination, taking on the robot with gusto. With their parents’ support, they engaged in intense battles against the robot, trading moves back and forth in a lively and exhilarating showdown.
The young talents at STEP each possess extraordinary skills and remarkable artistic gifts. During the dynamic talent showcase, Shen Xinyu kicked off the performance with a bold and nimble Mongolian dance, while Fan Dai Ruyun delivered a vibrant and energetic Latin dance routine. Cheng Shiru gracefully portrayed TFboys’ “Chong’ai” with her elegant stage presence. Wang Sihan, who has participated in several events already, leveraged her seasoned stage experience to present a lively ballet piece titled “Four Little Swans.” Next up, Li Yuetong brought a charming and lively dance called “Curry Curry.” Finally, the only male performer on stage, 6-year-old Chen Duole, enchanted everyone with his crisp bamboo flute melodies playing “Golden Snake Dance” and “My Motherland,” leaving lingering echoes that deeply captivated all those present.
At the end of the event, children and parents alike watched the carefully prepared cartoon “Angry Birds.” The witty and humorous animation had both kids and parents laughing heartily. Thus, this year’s Family Day event came to a close in an atmosphere filled with continuous excitement, constant laughter, and joyful camaraderie.
The “Cool Summer” event looks forward to meeting with the children again next year!
