STEP Robotics Powers the Thanksgiving Electronics Unmanned Workshop

Gan'en Electronics’ core business is providing high-end smartphones and electronic communication products as supporting components for globally renowned brands. The six automated production lines now in operation—from automatic material handling and component installation to assembly, complete-machine testing, and finally packing and boxing—can produce one finished product every 30 seconds on average, achieving unmanned operations through the use of CNC intelligent machining centers.

 


On the production line, six STEP SA1800 robots are arranged in a 1-to-8 configuration to automate the loading and unloading of both raw parts and finished products. Combined with the automatic transportation provided by AGV carts, this setup achieves fully automated production throughout the workshop.

The CNC intelligent machining center is closely integrated with industrial robots, creating an “upgraded” version of smart manufacturing. STEP Robotics is supporting Gankang Electronics to achieve automated production operations in unmanned workshops.
