On December 16, 2021, the award ceremony titled “Innovation-Driven: Building a Strong Chinese Manufacturing Sector—Outstanding Enterprises, Distinguished Individuals, Special Contribution Awards, and Intelligent Solutions,” organized by MM Modern Manufacturing, a renowned global media group under FOGO Industrial Media, was successfully held in Shanghai. At the event, STEP proudly received the Outstanding Enterprise Award. Meanwhile, Mr. Wu Yuhui, Director and General Manager of STEP, was honored with the Distinguished Individual Award. This marks yet another recognition of STEP brand strength and innovative capabilities by an international industrial media outlet.

On the path toward high-quality development at STEP, Mr. Wu Yuhui, the current director and general manager of the company, is a leader with outstanding entrepreneurial spirit. Mr. Wu Yuhui is a seasoned management expert with an international perspective, having previously held positions at renowned global companies such as SEW, WEG WanGao, REGAL Rebo Electric, and ABB Motors. He joined STEP in July 2020, taking on the mission of guiding the company to enhance its performance and strengthen its profitability.
Since taking office, General Manager Wu Yuhui has implemented a series of innovative initiatives, driving an explosive growth in the company’s performance. In the first half of 2021, STEP achieved total operating revenue of 2.05 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 19.7%; and net profit attributable to shareholders reached 88.563 million yuan, up 104.4% year-on-year.
Over the past year and a half, General Manager Wu Yuhui has been actively building a customer-centric, profit-driven growth system, implementing divisional and BU-based operations, adjusting strategic planning to achieve business focus, and regarding R&D as the lifeline for the company’s sustained development.
It is understood that in 2021, MM “Modern Manufacturing” celebrated its 25th anniversary of establishing a presence in China. To mark this milestone, the all-media platform of MM “Modern Manufacturing” is proudly launching this special selection event.
