STEP Debuts at the 2025 Global Developers Pioneer Conference: Collaborating with Developers to Think, Act, and Discuss the Future Together

From December 12 to 14, 2025, the 2025 Global Developer Pioneers Conference will be held at the Zhangjiang Science Hall in Pudong, Shanghai. As an expert in industrial intelligence, STEP will participate deeply in the conference in its dual capacity as a “full-stack enabler” and an “industry co-builder.” Through “thought-provoking sharing sessions, hands-on workshops, and technology showcases,” STEP will join forces with developers from around the world to explore the future possibilities of intelligent robotics.

Featured Introduction

Scene Breakthrough Cai Liang, Vice President of STEP, shared his insights on how STEP’ humanoid robots can accelerate the adoption of scenario-specific applications.

Thinking Plaza – Humanoid Robots: Technology Integration Driven by Scenarios

During the "Thinking Plaza" session, Cai Liang, Vice President of STEP Group, engaged in a dialogue with several industry leaders on the topic of “How humanoid robots can accelerate scenario applications and achieve large-scale implementation.”

Cai Liang pointed out that the key to realizing the value of STEP humanoid robots lies in the integration and synergy between technology and real-world industrial scenarios. Currently, STEP has already established workstations in several specialized application areas, including material sorting, warehouse handling, quality inspection, and dual-arm assembly. He further explained that STEP is leveraging AI technologies—such as “high-dimensional visual perception, intelligent path planning, and dexterous force-controlled manipulation”—to gradually advance the robots’ autonomous operational capabilities from laboratory settings into real production lines, enabling them to handle complex, unstructured environments.

Practical Workshop—STEPStudio: From Virtual Simulation to Real-World Collaboration

In the “Practical Workshop” session of this conference, the “STEPStudio Robot Offline Programming and Simulation Platform Workshop,” hosted by STEP, drew a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere on-site, attracting numerous developers and university students to actively participate and engage in rich exchanges.

The workshop employs an “engineering-grade, real-world workstation” teaching approach, guiding participants through the entire industrial-grade development process—from setting up a virtual environment and planning trajectories to multi-robot collaboration—in just 1.5 hours, enabling a rapid transition from theory to practical production-line implementation.

On-site, the “STEP Robot Application Competition” was also introduced—the competition is a long-term initiative launched by STEP to promote deep integration among industry, academia, and research. It aims to bridge the gap between university-based research, the developer community, and real-world industrial needs. The first edition of the competition has now entered its final stage, attracting numerous robotics enthusiasts and demonstrating robust vitality within the technological ecosystem.

Technology Showcase—It’s not just a showcase; it’s a dialogue.

The product technology showcase area of STEP prominently features the “Vibration Suppression Demonstration Platform,” which highlights STEP core control capabilities. This platform vividly demonstrates how vibration suppression technology serves as the foundational support for robots to achieve precise manipulation, safe interaction, real-time adaptation, and performance breakthroughs, attracting numerous tech developers to stop by for discussions and hands-on experiences.

Join hands with developers and together embark on the next decade of intelligent manufacturing.

Through the full-link participation—“reflection, practical application, demonstration, and connection”—in this conference, STEP Systems has presented a three-dimensional corporate profile of a technology enterprise: one that not only possesses an engineering mindset rooted in real-world scenarios but also embraces an ecosystem philosophy characterized by open collaboration and continuous empowerment.

From core components to complete system integration, and from industrial settings to embodied intelligence, STEP looks forward to walking side by side with more developers and partners, jointly driving embodied robotics technology toward large-scale, industrialized applications in the new decade of intelligent manufacturing.

About the 2025 Global Developer Pioneers Grand Event will

2025 The Global Developer Pioneer Conference and the International Embodied Intelligence Skills Competition will be held from December 12 to 14, 2025, at the Zhangjiang Science Hall in Pudong, Shanghai. This year’s conference is positioned as an “Embodied Intelligence Industry Carnival,” unfolding across four key venues—“Arena, Experimental Workshop, Forum for Reflection, and Festival”—with the aim of driving technology from mere demonstration toward real-world applications, establishing measurable benchmarks for the industry, and fulfilling the mission of “Shanghai, a city that truly understands developers.”
