On December 19, the finals of the first Shanghai Industrial Robot Technology Application Skills Competition and the 4th National Industrial Robot Skills Application Competition were officially held. One-third of the world's robot output is in China, and one-third of China's robot output is in Shanghai. The robot industry is becoming a new business card of "Made in Shanghai". The vigorous development of the industry is inseparable from the strong support of high-quality skilled personnel. This skill competition aims to provide a platform for skilled talents in the field of industrial robots to demonstrate professional skills and learn from exquisite skills, create a good atmosphere for the development of skilled talents, guide relevant colleges and universities to innovate talent training models, improve school-running levels, and cultivate urgently needed talents for industrial development. It will provide a solid guarantee of skilled talents for Shanghai to complete the "three major tasks", strengthen the "four major functions" and build the "five centers".

 

 

STEP , as a technical support unit, provides competition equipment for this competition. At the same time, the STEP robot service team is at the competition site to provide technical support and service guarantee for the normal operation of competition equipment.

 

 

In this event, STEP provided 26 sets of fidget spinner assembly workstations, using STEP desktop robots and its subsidiary Zhongweixing SCARA robots. , mechanical, software and troubleshooting capabilities.

 

 

 

 

The competition was officially launched in May this year. A total of 72 contestants from various vocational colleges, technical colleges and related enterprises in the city signed up for the competition, including 42 teachers (staff) and 30 students, with an average age of 27. After fierce preliminary competition, a total of 50 contestants came to the fore to enter the finals, and accepted the comprehensive assessment of industrial robot technical skill level and professional comprehensive quality in the form of theoretical examination and practical operation competition. Winners will be recommended to participate in the Shanghai Technical Expert, May 1st Labor Medal, Shanghai Youth Post Expert and other honorary titles. At the same time, the top players will also be recommended to participate in the 4th National Industrial Robot Skills Application Competition to be held next year.
