Without high-skilled talents, there will be no "craftsmen of a great country", and high-quality development will not be supported.

Smart manufacturing, thousands of sails are competing,
but who will control the ups and downs?
The scarcity of skilled talents is on the table.
How should the government, schools, and enterprises work together to directly
address the pain of the industry and solve the urgent needs of the industry?

November 23-26,
2018 Guangdong Vocational Skills Competition--
Guangdong Mechatronics Vocational Skills Competition
"Workers Group" Competition
Burns and Stages

Winter is better than spring, and the Lingnan First Technician College of Industry and Commerce in Guangdong Province welcomes guests.

With the theme of "New Era, New Skills, New Dreams", this competition aims to serve the new demand for high-skilled talents in the "Made in China 2025" strategy and industrial intelligent transformation. The competition specifications and the number of participants not only lead domestic similar competitions, but also seamlessly connect with the WorldSkills Competition in terms of event organization and technical evaluation.

The competition consists of a student group and an employee group. The content of the competition is closely related to the actual needs in automated production. The two practical competitions of the employee group focus on the design, assembly, programming, debugging, optimization, and maintenance of robots and machine vision.

Shenzhen Zhongweixing was successfully shortlisted as the equipment sponsor of this competition, and exclusively provided 30 sets of SCARA robots, control systems, vision systems and teaching devices for the competition.

In the three-day competition, more than 60 contestants in the employee group will fight for honors such as the "May 1st Labor Medal of Guangdong Province" and "Technical Expert of Guangdong Province".

Directly hit the actual game scene

In the practical part, it is better to see it than to hear it. The editor tried to record the whole process of the competition at close range without turning on the flash or disturbing the way.

The most eye-catching place in the entire practical competition venue is undoubtedly the competition workstation. Zhongweixing AR5215 series SCARA robot and AVS3200 vision system lined up to welcome all contestants.

Emphasis on skills, regardless of education and status. The contestants come from the front-line employees of enterprise production, college teachers, practical training instructors, and employees of school-run factories.

▲Be prepared, don’t rush, first look at the requirements before making a move

▲During intense debugging, please do not disturb

▲Brother's waist is not Wan Guan, but a tool, and more importantly, his calmness at critical moments.

▲Women do not give way to men, women are strong, the country is strong, here, there should be no controversy!

▲Competitors connect the robot and machine vision system, turn on the power and air source, and prepare for scoring. Competitors operate the robot and place workpieces according to the referee's requirements.

▲Gaze from the sidelines, players wait anxiously

▲Comparing the operation of the robot and machine vision system with the scoring table, the referee will decide whether to score.

"Government, enterprise and school" jointly build a robot skills talent team

China has always had many skilled craftsmen, but the current scale, structure, and quality of skilled personnel cannot meet the needs of the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.

"Machine substitution" does not mean building an unmanned factory. To run industrial robots, a large number of system installation, debugging, operation and maintenance personnel are needed. The employment structure of the robotics industry is unreasonable, and the shortage of skilled talents has become increasingly prominent.

According to the development plan of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, by 2020, the installed capacity of industrial robots will reach 1 million units, and about 200,000 industrial robot application-related practitioners will be needed.

This skills competition will lead training through competitions, promote competitions through training, and form a joint force of talent training and incentives through the government, enterprises, and schools. The talent evaluation system has exploratory significance.
