The high level of automation in the project improves product quality and delivery capability. The project uses robot, AGV, three-dimensional warehouse, sorting system and other automated systems instead of manual participation in the whole process of robot manufacturing, after the actual operation, product yield and delivery cycle are guaranteed. In terms of process design, the production preparation time is reduced by 30 minutes/time, different structural models can be produced in line, fast switching, and the production efficiency is increased by 20%; In terms of planning and dispatching, the logistics staff was reduced from the original 6 to 3, the planning staff was reduced from the original 2 to 1, and the corresponding operation staff was reduced by 50%; In terms of production operations, the number of operators was reduced from 6 to 2, the production efficiency was increased by 50%, and the product pass-through rate was increased by 20%.

The high level of digitization and intelligence of the project provides guarantee for automated production and improves cost control ability. EMES (Manufacturing management system), WMS (warehouse management system), SRM (supplier management system), CRM (sales management system) and other software systems are used to connect the supply chain, manufacturing and marketing, and build the intelligent manufacturing system of the new Shida Robot Gigafactory. The information flow and logistics between customers, factories and suppliers are fully connected, and robot manufacturing is enabled by a high level of automation, intelligence and digital technology.

The project has completed the "Intelligent Manufacturing Capability Maturity Assessment Report" according to national standards, and the maturity level is level 4. The maturity model of intelligent manufacturing capability comprehensively evaluates the digital, networked and intelligent development level of enterprises from low to high five maturity levels. Level 1 is for process management (planning level), level 2 is for digital transformation (standard level), level 3 is for network integration (integration level), level 4 is for intelligent production (optimization level), and level 5 is for industrial chain innovation (leading level).

Shanghai benchmarking Smart Factory is the 10 benchmarking smart factories in Shanghai selected by Shanghai Economic and Information Commission on the basis of national-level smart factories and 100 smart factories in Shanghai, recommended by various districts, expert preliminary evaluation, on-site evaluation, defense review and list publicity, etc. It is the specific measure for Shanghai to fully implement the smart factory pilot plan, and will be led by benchmarking. We will deepen the integration of the digital economy and the real economy.
