AS700 series engineering inverters have two rectification modes to choose from: silicon controlled rectification and AFE active rectification. The thyristor rectification method is mainly used in occasions where there is no requirement for grid harmonics and no energy feedback is required, such as centrifuges and water pumps. The AFE active rectification method is mainly used in occasions that require low harmonics in the power grid or require energy to return to food, such as hoisting machinery.
