The Seventh Council of the Shanghai Robot Industry Association and the 2017 General Assembly were held in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province on February 25. More than 70 representatives from the association's member units attended the meeting.

Association member meeting

The general meeting of the association is presided over by the Secretary-General Meng Li. Dai Liu, president of the association, made a work report on the theme of "seize the opportunity, take the initiative, and contribute to the creation of Shanghai's robot industry highland". The report summarized the work of the association in 2016 and put forward the main points of work in 2017. The report pointed out that members are the cornerstone of the association, and the success of an industry association depends on the participation of members and the value of members. Member units and industry associations are a community of interests. In the association, they not only share success, but also assume responsibility to reflect value. To focus on serving members, it is necessary to reflect the value of members as the first choice; to build a platform must reflect the market value of members, and the association must build a cooperation platform between production and demand to promote market value; to focus on social benefits means to Reflect social value.

The Seventh Council of the first session of the association is presided over by the president Dai Liu. The meeting listened to reports such as "The Association's 2016 Work Summary and 2017 Work Highlights", and added matters such as the vice-chairman unit and the vice-chairman. After this additional election, Shanghai STEP Robot Co., Ltd. was elected as the vice president unit, and Cai Liang, the general manager of the company, was elected as the vice president of the association.
