Project Description.

Using STEP robot, considering the welding requirement of workpiece and high utilization rate of robot, we adopt double stations and robot upside down form. Station 1 is for the bottom of the car and station 2 is for the bottom frame. The upside down gantry is convenient for the robot to adjust its posture, and the duplex station improves efficiency. The fixture is designed for 7 types of workpieces.

Workstation description.

Combined with the existing conditions of the factory, comprehensive consideration of welding efficiency, this solution uses a single robot double station, manual loading and unloading, with the help of positioning tooling, auxiliary positioning sedan bottom. The robot is installed in the middle of the double station, while taking into account the left and right double stations. While one of the stations is welding, the other station is loading and unloading, and vice versa.
Each workstation can rotate around the center. After the robot finishes welding at the current station, the workstation rotates 90° and the robot continues welding until all welding is completed.

Full assurance of welding quality and solidity, small deformation and improved welding efficiency.
Easy and accurate positioning of workpiece loading.
Can adapt to 2-3 different specifications of the bottom of the sedan, fixture replacement is simple and convenient.
