Information

On the control cabinet assembly line of the STEP electrical workshop, a new member - the STEP SD700E robot "inspector" appeared .

Robot "inspector" on duty

Its working principle is to retrieve the order configuration/material configuration in EMES by scanning the barcode, and use visual inspection technology to identify outlines/colors/characters, etc., and match them with templates in the visual template library. If the matching fails, the feedback is NG, and if the matching is passed, the feedback is OK. Communicate with EMES during the robot detection process, store the detection results and pictures in the EMES system, and fully display the detection results of the control cabinet to guide continuous improvement of production.

location recognition

At present, the visual inspection items of this control cabinet include: material model identification, program identification, button presence/direction identification, non-standard function presence/direction identification, cable sequence/color identification, etc.

Through the robot "inspector" inspection, the original inspection mode can be improved. On the one hand, the inspection efficiency is improved, and the inspection time of one control cabinet is increased from the original 6min/unit to 1.5min/unit; on the other hand, through system comparison, the risk caused by human error in judgment is eliminated.

online inspection

This project is led by the STEP quality team and provides data support, and the robot team and the EMES team are jointly developed. The mixed-line control cabinet inspection station based on EMES orders solves the detection problems of mixed-line multi-category/non-standard materials, and is suitable for inspection of control cabinets with 6 high-power segments/more than 10 non-standard combination configurations.

UI

Using STEP EMES technology and elevator cloud technology, all data is stored in EMES for analysis of detection pass rate/common errors, providing necessary data support for quality improvement. At the same time, the inspection results are uploaded to the inspection system, and the inspection results can be shared with the elevator manufacturer to jointly provide technical support for the improvement of product quality.
