13 new careers released


In April, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the State Administration for Market Regulation, and the Bureau of Statistics jointly released information on 13 new occupations. This is the first batch of new occupations released since the promulgation of the National Occupational Classification Ceremony in 2015. The new occupations are mainly concentrated in the high-tech field, involving new occupations of high-end professional technology promoted by the upgrading of industrial structure, changes of traditional occupations caused by technological upgrading, and new occupations derived from the extensive application of information technology.


These 13 new occupations include: artificial intelligence engineering technicians, Internet of Things engineering technicians, big data engineering technicians, cloud computing engineering technicians, digital managers, building information model technicians, e-sports operators, e-sports players, Human-machine driver, agricultural manager, Internet of Things installation and commissioning personnel, industrial robot system operator, industrial robot system operation and maintenance personnel.


STEP robot training center


As a leading enterprise in China's intelligent manufacturing, STEP has been committed to the cultivation of high-skilled talents. STEP robot training center was established in 2014, mainly engaged in welding robot assembly and adjustment (special professional ability); industrial robot system debugger (advanced), industrial robot system debugger (intermediate); STEP robot primary programming, STEP robot advanced programming; CoDeSys Training courses such as installation configuration and STEP standard engineering, welding advanced functions, palletizing advanced functions, additional axis configuration and servo debugging. In the past 5 years, more than 1,000 relevant technical personnel have been trained.

 


In 2016, the training center undertook the Shanghai Human Resources and Social Security Bureau's welding robot system debugging training center project and welding robot assembly and adjustment course project, and completed the project acceptance in 2018. After acceptance, the training center not only trains high-skilled talents for STEP, but also undertakes training services for high-skilled talents in the robot field in Shanghai, and can also provide relevant vocational training for those who choose "new careers".
