On July 12, the first batch of 54 freshmen from various business divisions, graduated from various key universities in China, gathered at Shanghai headquarters to welcome the grand opening of the "New Freshmen Training Course", which also marked the official opening of the "New Star Start" program.

Along with the end of the orientation session, the 2022 new freshmen training course officially entered the first stage of training content. Li Qingsong, the class director, introduced the training content and arrangement to the trainees in detail and issued the "Student Growth Manual" for each trainee. Tian Yongxin brought the first class "Introduction to Corporate Culture" to the trainees.

 

During the training, class construction was carried out through a series of activities such as "self-presentation, group construction, wish-sharing and subject co-construction". The atmosphere was active, which not only enhanced the sense of collective honor, but also improved the distance between the trainees, boosted their self-confidence and accelerated their integration into their roles.

 

Quality courses, help training for growth

 

In order to help the new generation to grow up quickly, STEP Academy optimized the previous training mode and set up a 3-week "training period" plan, selected more than 30 excellent executives, business backbone, technical experts from the company as training teachers, developed quality courses and participated in teaching. The training content not only contains job knowledge such as culture, strategy, market, technology, process and product, but also professional skills and behavioral habits such as professionalism, craftsmanship, tool application, etc. The training mode adopts a step-by-step introduction, from shallow to deep, and is equipped with visits, practice, project co-construction and other activity task links.

 

Cultural expansion and accelerated integration

 

During the training period, we also arranged cultural development and carried out "Happy Group Building Day", through five team games such as "paper airplane, life is like a drama, and soccer", which not only injected vitality into the training, but also made everyone realize the importance of "teamwork".

Before the end of the event, the company quietly sent birthday wishes to the two trainees who had their birthdays that month. The atmosphere reached a climax as everyone gathered around the prepared birthday cake and sang the birthday song in unison.

 

 

 

Professional skills challenge to help improve skills

 

During the training period, in order to enhance the participants' technical application practical ability and team research innovation ability, the training course also carried out "professional skills challenge". Each group combined with their own group's professional ability and characteristics, have received the corresponding topic, completed the development of the solution, and finally after the expert evaluation and defense session, the topic design of "defect detection system design based on machine vision" stood out.

Through this challenge, it was very significant for the participants to guide, not only to enhance the new application of ideas, but also to learn a lot of experience in the future professional skills. Chen Wei, director of the Enterprise Technology Center, said: "Everyone can complete the task seriously without practical experience, the performance is very good, I hope that we can continue to maintain this spirit of exploration and cooperation in the future work".
